Co-Producer

A fervent believer in amplifying diverse voices to foster culturally sensitive care, Tessa co-produces the Healthcare for Humans podcast alongside Dr. Raj Sundar and Maha Razzaki. This platform serves as a conduit for marginalized communities' experiences, broadening the understanding of culturally safe care for providers and health systems.

As a speaker and moderator for the American College of Healthcare Executives, Tessa has actively led discussions on equity in healthcare and has been a vocal advocate for meaningful change. She currently serves as the Director of Business Strategy for the Washington Permanente Medical Group (WPMG) and is responsible for spearheading multiple efforts to drive Kaiser Permanente Washington's strategic direction. She also serves on the board of ICHS, a Federally Qualified Health Center in Washington state.

Catch her on episode 14, talking about the Chinese immigrant experience with Seattle-based community activist, Ron Chew.
