I am a veteran family physician who practices in about as diverse a practice environment as is imaginable and who also has taught family medicine residents for over three decades. This podcast is a "must listen to" for all medical practitioners (physicians and all others), from the clinician to the teacher to the resident and student. It grapples with highly important issues that certainly affect the care of every patient. It can help promote a mindset that will benefit all patients, since all patients are part of the human family. It promotes a curiosity about others that should be a model for all of us. Dr. Sundar is a gentle and engaged interviewer, and he brings out the best in his subjects. I would additionally recommend that the podcast can be used to foster discussion in learning groups, and this will lead to even greater value and understanding.
